Description
A mallard duck is about to learn the consequences of ignoring the warnings that he was getting too close to the family of Mute Swans. I captured this shot from the shore along the Bayshore Trail in Belleville. At the time this encounter erupted I was zoomed in tight on the Swan and his warning display. This was a really lucky series of shots to be able remain tight enough to have the swan fill the frame and still have his target in the foreground.
